Your Dream. Our Mission.

What We Do

Solutions

Beautiful Web Properties

We know your message is unique and your web properties should be as unique as your message. We’ll work with you to craft the perfect solution for you that doesn’t compromise power and function for a beautiful interface because you need both.

Creative Design

We design beautiful things. From banners to business cards, brochures to booklets, we can take your idea and turn it into something beautiful. We can even help create and edit the content.

Integrated Cloud Based Software

Track interactions with your web properties, follow up with automated and targeted marketing campaigns, record donations, manage events… We build smart solutions that give you tools you need while maintaining a seamless, single interface.

Video

You want to communicate with your audience in unique ways. We can help with animated videos, live event coverage, or staged interviews of your staff or constituents. If you can think of it, we can do it.

Nathan Porter

Recovering Corporate Drone

After 10 years in enterprise software implementation and deployment strategies, Nate ditched the suit and tie for T-shirts, jeans, and a mountain man beard. He’s totally serious about his work, though—and the beard. When he’s not teleporting to meet with our clients or attending WordCamps, he can be found scanning the latest developments in software, server, and data management tools. He also spends time with our corporate furry mascot, Holly, and Bridge-
Builder, Marisa. He is busy planning a move from the Northeast to the mountains of Colorado, where he suspects his recovery will be complete.

Marisa Porter

Marisa Porter

Design/Code Bridge-Builder

Marisa dodges conventional wisdom, corporate BS, and system buzzwords and tackles code monsters and design ghouls. Her love of languages and words led to her love of WordPress, code, and design. Marisa’s role at Arete Imagine, Inc. is creating beautiful concepts, coding/implementing web-based solutions, and directing the whole web development process—from creative UX to web architecture and completion. When not dancing with code, she’s doing yoga or dreaming about wide open spaces.

Marie Daryl Asis

Marie Daryl Asis

Social Media Manager

Marie started her career as a registered nurse. She always loves exploring and researching new ideas and technologies. As she grew in her career she became increasingly interested in the social media wave and the opportunities it offered her to be a remote working soloprenuer. As a naturally social person she found social media to be rewarding and began learning from the top social media managers in the industry about how businesses could use social media to effectively communicate with their tribes. Combining her passion for social media and small business start-ups she has successfully helped business start ups in the US, New Zealand, and Australia build their online brand and successfully grow engagement with their fans. As a member of the Arete Imagine social media team, she is always looking for the next new trend in social media and ways to better engage with fans.

Alaina Mosso

Alaina Mosso

Typography Geek

A soon-to-be Design and Studio Art graduate from Messiah College, Alaina spends many a day inspecting the latest typefaces and familiarizing herself with kerning techniques. When she’s not creating T-shirts or curriculum guides for the Arete Team, she can be found testing her hand in the art of hand-lettering or battling family and friends at Trivia Crack. As a young designer, Alaina draws inspiration from those around her, striving to create fresh designs to spark communication within the public. Alaina also has a beta fish named Melvin.

TJ Marchesani

TJ Marchesani

Intern Pixel-Pusher

T.J. is a graphic design student at Messiah College, running mostly on frozen pizza and caffeine. He will work on anything he can get his hands on at Arete — from brochures to web design. When T.J. isn’t in the Mac lab losing sleep over kerning, he’s probably getting a good run or lift in to refresh his mind. T.J. starts most of his sentences with, “Did you know that…” followed by a random fun fact. T.J’s parents sold his drum set when he moved to college—but he’s not bitter! He still tries to shred whenever he comes across a kit.

Meg Martin

Meg Martin

UX Designer and Social Media Butterfly

With over 22 moves between New York and Tokyo, Meg finally found her home with Arete Imagine. Her years of struggling with sabotaging social media addictions turned into a real-life job as a Social Media Butterfly. When she’s not fluttering over new concepts for UX and responsive email designs, she’s Instagramming inspirational scribbles and staged moments with her 5-year-old daughter, Emma. They currently live in the always-beautiful Denver, Colorado.

Shayla Eaton

Shayla Eaton

Oxford Comma Advocate/Nighttime Daydreamer

Shayla is a believer of the impossible, a coffee enthusiast, and book hoarder. She fights against apostrophe abuse and rallies behind the Oxford comma. When she’s not dreaming about Wonderland, she’s editing and writing blog posts, web content, and scripts for Arete Imagine. She has edited over 150 books and lives in Oklahoma, where the wind does, in fact, come sweeping down the plain.

Holly

Holly

Team Mascot

Holly has been with Arete Imagine Inc since day one. She sat in on our first strategic planning meetings and helped to keep things on track. She is the official team mascot and helps boost team morale around the office. We haven’t figured out how to write off her expenses for tax purposes yet and her only pay is a walk and treat now and then but happiness is it’s own reward, right?

Media Literacy Website

  • Media Literacy Website: One of the DFPA (Drug Free Pennsylvania) sites, the Media Literacy website supports a campaign to educate students and their teachers and other school staff about what is constantly being fed into our brains through the various forms of media around us. Clueing youth into the deceptive and condescending messages in media prevents them from being duped by those messages. Recognizing both positive and negative messages in media is a life-skill everybody should possess.
