Nathan Porter

President

Nathan Porter has worked in the technology industry for over 10 years starting with a small software development firm in 2002 and going on to help start a new IT services company. He also has a degree in Digital Design and has acted as a Sales Director and Account Executive building his experience in working with many central PA non-profits and businesses.

Nathan’s role at arete. IMAGINE. includes strategic planning for the direction and growth of the company as well as working directly with clients in the role of software selection, project planning and fulfillment. He has also developed a unique SEO strategy for website traffic growth and retention.

Marisa Porter

Marisa is passionate about the marriage of art and technology. Prior to founding Arete Imagine, Marisa worked with local non-profit organizations in various design capacities from brand development to unique web properties and tools. A few of the organizations she has worked with closely are: Goodwill of Central PA, The Whitaker Center, National Civil War Museum, Drug Free Pennsylvania, and ABWE.

She also worked at AHOLD USA in a web properties management capacity.Marisa’s role at arete. IMAGINE. is creating beautiful concepts and coding/implementing web based solutions. She will also work with you to understand your needs and goals.

Katelin loves moving pieces. In the past she managed a team of 10+ banking professionals, she has worked at the headquarters of one of the largest and fastest growing food distributors. Her experience in organization, communications, and time management make her a great project manager. She’s the one that makes sure your project makes it from an idea to completion, on time.

Graphic Designer

Jovan loves taking ideas and concepts and turning them into full on, beautiful designs. He graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communication and in the 4 years since he has had the opportunity to work with well known companies like Red Bull, Nivea, and MTV to create some amazing marketing campaigns. His design style is clean and modern and he makes a great addition to the Arete Imagine creative team.

Creative Writer - Script Writer

Lorie is a wizard with words. She has written screenplays, novels, articles, corporate PR, and anything else you can think of. She worked as a development executive for Showtime Networks, Inc. as the head of their Story Department. Her 16+ years of experience and her love for language translates to your message being communicated in a way people will connect with instantly.

Marie started her career as a registered nurse. She always loves exploring and researching new ideas and technologies. As she grew in her career she became increasingly interested in the social media wave and the opportunities it offered her to be a remote working soloprenuer. As a naturally social person she found social media to be rewarding and began learning from the top social media managers in the industry about how businesses could use social media to effectively communicate with their tribes. Combining her passion for social media and small business start-ups she has successfully helped business start ups in the US, New Zealand, and Australia build their online brand and successfully grow engagement with their fans. As a member of the Arete Imagine social media team, she is always looking for the next new trend in social media and ways to better engage with fans.

Holly has been with Arete Imagine Inc since day one. She sat in on our first strategic planning meetings and helped to keep things on track. She is the official team mascot and helps boost team morale around the office. We haven’t figured out how to write off her expenses for tax purposes yet and her only pay is a walk and treat now and then but happiness is it’s own reward, right?

  • Media Literacy Website: One of the DFPA (Drug Free Pennsylvania) sites, the Media Literacy website supports a campaign to educate students and their teachers and other school staff about what is constantly being fed into our brains through the various forms of media around us. Clueing youth into the deceptive and condescending messages in media prevents them from being duped by those messages. Recognizing both positive and negative messages in media is a life-skill everybody should possess.
